At most 90 days per country or Schengen zone every 180 days, hence need for 7-10 day stays to fill out 6 month period. If winter in Serbia, stay late Feb in whichever of Macedonia/Albania/Türkiye has direct flights to Madrid. Winter in USA another possibility, either entire winter or just 6 weeks (long enough to replace passport and other tasks). All flights other than to/from USA should be direct, to minimize risk of lost luggage. Bus possible between Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria.
